CULTURAL CLUB OF KARPENISSI - GREECE

       As with every part of  Greece, Eurytania has its own features style end color . Elements which are created not only by the natural surroundings but also by the history legends andMusic traditions of the area, together with the monuments of our cultural heritage.
      Travelling towards Karpenissi the historic capital of the province of Eurytania in the center of Greece, one feels a delightfully refreshing experience due the grandeur of its mountains, its vast natural beauty and magnificent forests.

          The Cultural Club of Karpenissi is a lively organization which provides the local community with the opportunity to come together in an atmosphere promoting creativity, exression and recreation and preserving the area’s cultural heritage.
    TsamikosThe Folklore Dance Group of the Club was established in 1979 and it has the greatest number of members that any other of its creative fields (Theatrical, Musical, Children’s Choir). Remaining true to tradition the Dance Group performs dances and songs from all over the Greece as they were originally performed .

Our Dance Group takes a leading role in Cultural festivals which are enriched  by full programs encompassing customs , traditions , tunes music and dance from both the mainland and the islands of Greece . This is achieved through the most impressive dancing rythms and beautiful national customs of the country.
          The Dance Group has performed in national and international festival, successfully, receiving noteworthpraise from critics for their presentation and flawless organization, the dancer’sClub synchronization and excessiveness as well as the aesthetic beauty provident by the rich collection of authentic traditional costumes. In all,  the Cultural Club of Karpenissi has today a set function in the social and political life in Eurytania .
